Game Studio
Games to play alone, with a colleague or with a whole meeting - and new ones, made from a sentence. A game is an app with a table: seats, turns, a computer to play against, and a hall of fame.
What it is for
- Ready to play
- Chess with full rules and a three-level computer, 2048, Four in a row, Three in a row, and a Quick quiz for a room.
- One table for every game
- Seats, turns, invitations, watching and a hall of fame are built once. A game brings only its rules and its board.
- In a meeting
- Start a game from the call: it takes the main stage the way a shared screen does, for everyone in it.
- A computer seat
- Nobody free? Sit the computer in the other chair.
- New games from a sentence
- Game Studio stands on App Studio's engine: describe a game, and it is planned, built and tested like any app.
Getting started
- Open Game Studio and pick a game.
- Play alone, sit the computer down, or invite someone.
- Your best results go to the hall of fame.
Tasks
Run a quiz in a meeting
- In the call, start Quick quiz.
- Everyone answers on their own screen at once.
- Move on when you are ready; the table shows who is ahead.
Make a new game
- In Game Studio, describe the game.
- Read the plan and let it build.
- Play the draft; publish it for everyone.
Questions
Why does a work platform have games?
Because teams that meet on a screen need something to do together that is not work. And a quiz is the fastest way to find out what a room took in.
Can a game see our people or data?
No. A game gets its table and nothing else; inviting people is the platform's job, not the game's.
