A person's own mailbox on the organisation's own mail server, read and written in Divan. Mail is designed with the same brand as everything else, and an attachment is looked at inside the platform, not only downloaded.
What it is for
- Your own mail server
- Mail runs on a server you host. A mailbox is opened as the person it belongs to - nobody else's grant opens it.
- An editor made for two scripts
- Paragraphs take their direction from their first letter; fonts that display on the receiver's end, the Persian ones above all.
- Designed mail
- Templates and the organisation's signature are designed in blocks, by the people allowed to. The platform's own mails - an invitation, a reminder - are made by the same engine.
- Attachments, opened here
- A document, a sheet or a deck in a message is looked at in the platform, and can become an Office Studio document in one step.
- An assistant beside the message
- It drafts a reply or sums up a long thread. The message is data to it, never an instruction.
Getting started
- Open Mail from the rail. The number on its icon is your unread mail.
- Read a message; attachments open in the reader.
- Press New to write: choose a template or start plain.
Tasks
Use the organisation's signature
- Open a new message.
- The signature in force is added for you.
- Your own details - name, position, numbers - fill its fields.
Turn an attachment into a document
- Open the attachment in the reader.
- Choose A document from it.
- It becomes an Office Studio document you can work on in a thread.
Questions
Must we move our mail to use Divan?
No. Mail is one app of the platform; the rest works without it.
Who may change the signature?
Whoever may edit and publish the brand kit. Everyone else uses what is in force.
